September 7th – Pot Luck Picnic service at LutheRanch (684138 Sideroad 30, Holland Centre, ON)–please bring food to share, and your own dishes, flatware and cups or glasses. There are outlets and electricity to plug in slow cookers to keep food warm during the service. We will provide tea, coffee, milk/cream, sugar and lemonade. There are chairs in the pavilion.
Please follow the signs to LutheRanch – Participation Lodge will be on your right as you enter the driveway to LutheRanch, and follow the signage to the pavilion. PLEASE NOTE: THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA IS 15KM/HR- PLEASE FOLLOW THE SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ON THE PROPERTY!!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

Bluegrass in Five: Granite Hill in Concert Sept. 12th – 7:00 p.m.
Bluegrass is alive and well, and tapping its toes, as Middle Grey presents The Granite Hill Bluegrass Band. Five very experienced, always busy, and popular musicians for the delight of our Middle Grey audience. Meet Al Draper, the passionate and nationally recognized lead bluegrass voice and guitarist, Doug McNaughton, the Master fiddle teacher, Norm Tellier, the tenor vocalist, and twice recipient of the Central Canada Bluegrass Award as Mandolin Player of the Year, Neil Cudney, upright bassist, and vocals, who is rumoured to embody Granite Hill’s energy and spirit, and Steve Greer, a 40 year veteran of performing and recording, who contributes his 5-string banjo and baritone vocals. Online Auction September 25th
The auction of donated items (china, glassware, Books, Christmas décor, Kitchen ware etc.) will again be held through Rockford Auction Centre. You will receive instructions on how to register to see the items and bid. We will receive donations from September 2nd to September 20th. Viewing of auction items will be on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd. All donation items must be accompanied by a donor sheet available from the Narthex or the office with a full description. Pickup of items will be on Saturday, September 27th. Coffee Break
There is a signup sheet in the Narthex for Coffee Hour – We are looking for people to prepare coffee and put out the treats – they are all provided by Annesley, so only your time is needed. You can scale it down to 1 coffee hour just before or just after the service (instead of both) to make things easier –it is your choice. Thank you to anyone who can do this.

Take Out BBQ Chicken Dinner: October 22nd
The delicious and always popular Take out BBQ Chicken Dinner will be held on October 22nd, 2025. is taking place on October 22nd from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. For $25.00, you get a delicious ½ chicken cooked over charcoal, baked potato with condiments, coleslaw, bun and dessert. Tickets are now available at the church office, Murray’s Print Shop, or from Dave Armstrong. Deliveries are available; just ask when you buy your ticket.
Knit Wits next meet September 8th
The Knit Wits meet the 2nd and 4th Monday afternoons each month from 1:30 to 3:30 in the church parlour. Most of our knitting is done from yarn donated to the church and we thank you for that. All are invited to join us for a lovely afternoon of knitting and socialization.

The Southeast Grey Community Health Centre The South East Grey Community Health Centre would be happy to receive any reusable shopping bags to repurpose in the Community Pantry. Donated items such as unused toiletries, good condition bath towels, kitchen towels, bedding, socks, summer shoes and men’s pants or shorts are all appreciated. Donations can be dropped off to reception Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Home At Last (HAL)
HAL is a FREE settling in service to help people who have been in hospital to discharge home. The goal of the program is to facilitate an earlier discharge or unnecessary re-admission to hospital by providing transitional support services and links to community support services wen needed. Brenda & Peter Dimoff: CDs available due to popular demand
We have all been enjoying the music of Brenda and Peter Dimoff during the Sunday services. Many people have asked where they can get a copy of their CD, so Brenda and Peter have graciously responded by producing copies of the CD, as a fund raiser for Annesley! For a donation of $20 or more to Annesley, you receive a copy of this wonderful CD. They will be available each Sunday, or at the office during the week.

Support our Ukrainian refugees in Grey County by buying a button for $10 or more – donations go directly to Ukrainian refugees in Grey County. Sponsored by the Rotary Club. Buttons are in the office.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is an important part of Annesley’s outreach. Warm and cozy shawls are given to those of the congregation and community who are bereaved or seriously ill. The appropriate yarn must be purchased. If you would like to help, put your donation in an envelope marked Prayer Shawl and your name and send it to the church office. If you know anyone in the community who would benefit from receiving a prayer shawl, please call the office at 519-986-3019
