Diane Mae Webb – Celebration of Life and Reception

Celebration of life on Wednesday 12th July 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Annesley United Church, Markdale.

Diane Mae Webb 1943 – 2023 Diane Mae Webb [Green] of Markdale Ontario passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 7, after a full life and a brief bout with health issues.

Diane was born on April 2, 1943 in Kenora Ontario to Gunnar and Edna Green. When her schooling was complete, Diane worked for several years in the financial sector before entering the profession she was destined for and at which she excelled; that of homemaker, mother, and grandmother.

On January 22, 1966 she was married to Gordon and together they raised two extraordinary children in Gordon Jr. [Becky] and Colleen [Jonathan Knights].

Always a loving and supportive mother, she was, in due course, rewarded with two wonderful grandchildren in Cassidy Mae and Brendan James Knights who were her treasures!

Diane’s passion for strong family ties stemmed from the warm and loving environment she enjoyed as a child growing up in Lakeside. She harboured fond memories of her parents and brother Grant who were always with her in spirit.

She leaves to mourn and yet to celebrate having shared her life with them, her family and those fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence.
